Terms of Sale
Published pricing, checkout, and formal quotes
Stocked products may be purchased online at the displayed material price or the buyer’s validated CFS Pro Account price. Shipping and applicable sales tax are calculated during checkout. Buyers may instead submit the same cart for a formal landed quote or pro forma invoice; a quote request is not a completed order and does not reserve inventory until accepted by CFS.
Payment terms
Stocked ecommerce orders are paid through checkout unless an approved account has separate payment terms. Formal-quote orders may require prepayment, a deposit, or another written payment schedule before release. Net terms are available only to established accounts after credit review and written approval.
Lead times
Lead times are good-faith estimates based on supplier confirmation at order time, not guarantees. CFS is not liable for consequential damages arising from delivery delays.
Overage and dye lots
We recommend ordering 7–10% overage on all flooring orders. Shortfall reorders may ship from a different dye lot; color match across lots is not guaranteed.
Sales tax and exemption documentation
CFS collects applicable sales tax unless valid resale or exemption documentation has been reviewed and accepted for the transaction and jurisdiction. CFS Pro pricing eligibility and tax-exempt status are separate; account pricing does not remove sales tax.
Samples
Individual samples ($5) and submittal boards ($39) are charged at order and credited in full against the customer’s first flooring order. Sample charges are otherwise non-refundable. Samples represent current production; delivered material may vary by dye lot.
Returns and cancellations
Special-order and import material is non-cancelable and non-returnable once in production or allocated. Stocked material may be returned within 30 days in unopened cartons, subject to a 25% restocking fee plus return freight.
Warranty
Product warranties are the manufacturer’s, passed through to the buyer; CFS facilitates warranty claims on the customer’s behalf. Title and risk of loss transfer per the FOB terms stated on the order confirmation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
