One question at a time keeps the request fast and gives installers enough information to decide whether the work fits.
Find commercial flooring contractors and commercial flooring installers for your project. Enter the project location, then browse local pros or request up to 3 matches.
Tell us the property type, flooring, material purchasing plan, approximate size and schedule. CFS uses project location, flooring type and scope to identify contractors that fit the work.

Matching considers service area, project type, flooring capability and the contractor information CFS has on file.
Where contractors accept the opportunity, compare timing and pricing and choose who you want to hire.
Claiming is free. Tell CFS whether you perform commercial, residential or both types of work, where you work, what you install and whether you want project opportunities. Contractors are not charged a CFS lead fee or referral commission.
A commercial flooring contractor needs to fit more than a ZIP code. Flooring system, project size, property type, timing and service territory all matter. CFS uses those project details to narrow the contractor pool instead of giving buyers an undifferentiated list of phone numbers.
Local search is only the starting point. The right commercial flooring contractor also needs to fit the flooring system, property type, project scale and schedule. When flooring material is still needed, CFS can help with the material purchase separately from the contractor’s labor proposal.
Commercial flooring installers vary by flooring system and capacity. A company that performs residential LVP work may not be the right fit for a large occupied commercial renovation, while a commercial contractor may not pursue a small residential room. CFS contractor profiles keep project type and flooring capability as separate attributes so matching can become more precise as businesses claim and update their information.
Start with the facts that change whether a contractor will pursue the job: project location, property type, flooring system, approximate size and target schedule. For an occupied office, hotel, healthcare property or apartment community, it also helps to mention phasing, access restrictions, working-hour limits, demolition needs and known substrate conditions. Residential requests do not need a formal takeoff to begin; homeowners can provide an approximate square-foot range or simply describe the rooms involved.
CFS also asks who is purchasing the flooring material. That question is intentionally simple. The installer may be expected to purchase the material, the customer may plan to buy it, or the flooring may already be on hand. The answer helps separate the material transaction from the labor request without forcing the buyer through a longer purchasing questionnaire.
Businesses can claim their CFS profile at no charge and confirm whether they perform commercial work, residential work or both. They can also confirm LVP/SPC capability, service territory, typical project size and active installation capacity. Initial insurance questions are self-reported so claiming remains quick. A claimed profile does not automatically become CFS Verified; deeper documentation can be requested later when a project or program requires it.
That distinction allows the network to grow without pretending every business has completed the same level of review. It also gives CFS better information for matching. A company may have a strong reputation but focus on residential projects. Another may be commercially focused but specialize in a flooring system that does not fit the current request. Reputation, project type and flooring capability remain separate attributes.
After you submit the project details, CFS uses the information you provided to help connect the project with relevant flooring contractors. Contractors are independent businesses, so availability, pricing and response times can vary by project and location.
You can review the contractors that respond, compare the information provided and decide which company you want to continue with. There is no obligation to hire a contractor simply because you submitted a request through CFS.
