Contractor Network Terms
These terms describe the basic participation and communication rules for contractors who claim a CFS profile or opt in to project opportunities.
Profile claims and accuracy
Claiming a profile confirms that the claimant is authorized to manage information for the business. Claiming does not mean the contractor is CFS Verified. Contractors are responsible for keeping owner-confirmed profile information accurate and current.
Project opportunities
Participation in CFS project opportunities is optional. CFS does not charge participating contractors a lead fee or referral commission. Project opportunities are not guaranteed and may depend on location, project scope, flooring capability, availability and other fit factors.
Email and text notifications
If a contractor selects Yes to project opportunities, the contractor opts in to project-opportunity notifications by email and text message at the contacts provided during enrollment. Message and data rates may apply. Notification preferences may be changed later, and text recipients may opt out of text notifications.
Buyer information
CFS may collect buyer contact and project information to review and coordinate contractor requests. Buyer email addresses and phone numbers are not automatically released to contractors through the public directory.
No guarantee of award or verification
Receiving an opportunity, claiming a profile or participating in the CFS Contractor Network does not guarantee project awards, lead volume, CFS Verified status, CFS Pro approval or any particular commercial result.
CFS Pro is separate
CFS Pro is a separate professional purchasing account. Eligibility and approved account pricing are independent of profile claiming and contractor-network participation.
